RESTAURANT MANAGER

• Ensure the proper functioning of the catering services in the management of the bar, the food and beverage dispensers in the restaurant, the banquets, the kitchen, and the beach. 
• Manage the financial, human and material resources of the catering department to ensure smooth operation and maximize profitability of the department.
• Develop budgets, pricing and promotional strategies for catering products and services and evaluate results on an ongoing basis
• Manage human resources in conjunction with the department by assisting with hiring, training, scheduling and absence, conducting performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. 
• Establish, apply and enforce company procedures and service standards
• Ensure customer satisfaction by overseeing the quality of the food and service provided
• Inspect daily the facilities and ensure the application of hygiene, sanitation, health and safety standards in the workplace
• Ensure good communication between his/her department and other departments by organizing and participating in departmental meetings
• Solve and resolve any problems, complaints or unforeseen events brought to his/her attention during and after the service
• Carry out and control inventories, orders, purchases and deliveries of beverages

• Training in the hotel industry (catering) and sommellerie (Atout)
• Minimum (3) three years experience in a similar position and in personnel management
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
• Master the Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Mastery of the PMS computer system (IQware, Veloce, MPex) (Atout)
• Sales, marketing, human resources management, negotiation and customer service skills
• Demonstrate leadership, be results oriented and have good stress tolerance
• Professional attitudes and behaviour (teamwork, autonomy, initiative, organizational skills)
