The award, which is presented annually, focuses on innovation and design, rooms and comfort, service excellence, use of technology, sustainable development, marketing and image brand, employee satisfaction and location.

The Auberge du Lac Taureau has also received the Certificate of Excellence from the influential Trip Advisor site, a reference that is increasingly influencing travelers in choosing their holiday destinations.

The Auberge du Lac Taureau is also part of Hotels Relais du Silence. This European network encompasses 168 establishments in 9 different countries. These are all castles, mansions, mills, farms, mas, hostelleries and chalets between 3 and 5 stars. These establishments, which are part of the hotel chain of charm, evolve in exclusively natural, calm and privileged environments.

The Auberge du Lac Taureau is also part of the AHC's Green key ecological assessment system. Green Key is actually a progressive rating system designed to recognize hotels, motels and resorts that are committed to improving their financial and environmental performance.

Our Taïga products

Practical, ecological, in addition to limiting waste, we have set up dispensers of soaps, shampoos and creams in all our rooms. We have gone even further by offering in all our distributors the Taiga body products. Made in Quebec, all these products are fully recyclable.

Energy saving

Our new electronic programmable thermostats save up to 10% energy and provide more consistent comfort. All of the lighting in the Inn is compliant with LED standards, providing an additional 15% energy savings.

Recycled papers

Whether in the rooms or in the public areas, we have made 100% recycled and 100% recyclable paper available to customers.
