Snowmobile

LANAUDIÈRE: SNOWMOBILE COUNTRY!

Guided or unguided, live the experience of moving around on the well groomed and marked trails. Depending on your choice of excursion, you will have the chance to see breathtaking scenery and maybe stop in small typical inns to have a hot drink or a good meal.

Dog sledding

Ride our marked trails on our fatbikes, specialized bikes to perform in the middle of winter! Thrills guaranteed! The fatbike is easy to ride and fun for the whole family. Discover the snowy forests of Quebec while doing a physical activity: it's priceless!

Ice fishing

FISHING ENTHUSIASTS: TO YOUR BRIMBALS!

Known as an exciting family activity, ice fishing will delight both young and old fishermen! Accessible to all and ideal for an introduction to winter and snow vacations, ice fishing allows you to enjoy the intense winter sunshine. Well installed on the frozen pond, you will be in a great position to tease the trout!

Snowshoes

LIVE WINTER TO THE RHYTHM OF YOUR STEPS

Long used by adventurers and coureurs des bois to get around in the forest, snowshoes greatly facilitate the exploration of our snow-covered spaces! Put them on to explore our 23 km of trails around Lac Taureau without getting stuck in the snow.

With your family or on your own, you can enjoy the tranquility of nature and the proximity of several animal species. According to our statistics (not scientific), there is a good chance that you will come across a deer on your trail! Keep your eyes open!

Cross-country skiing

DISCOVER THE PLEASURE OF SKIING!

Easy to practice, cross-country skiing allows you to discover Quebec's wide open spaces and snowy forests while doing a physical activity of varying intensity. Novice as well as intermediate skiers will have fun discovering our trails around Lake Taureau. Depending on the mood of the moment, you can choose among our four marked trails in the forest surrounding the Auberge.

Skates

SHOW US YOUR BEST TRICKS!

When winter sets in, our pond is transformed into two huge skating rinks that are maintained daily. One is very often used for team sports, and the other forms a magnifying glass around the fishermen who patiently wait for a trout to bite the hook. Put on one of our pairs of skates and show us what you can do!

Kicksledding

EXPLORE THE TRAILS DIFFERENTLY!

An excellent cardio exercise, the snow scooter replaces cross-country skiing for those looking for more stability on the snow. It's an ideal family sport, guaranteed winter fun for all!

Sledding on tube

HURTLE DOWN THE SLOPES AT FULL SPEED!

Take one of our tubes at the Animation Pavilion and head off down the snowy slope near the Inn! It's the perfect winter activity to do with family or friends. Laughter and fun guaranteed!

Don't forget to bring your doggie if you feel like it!

Team sports

GET HOCKEY FEVER!

Ice Hockey
This discipline is part of Quebec's purest sporting tradition. The skating rink, located just across the street from the Inn, is available for many winter activities, including hockey. The goals are already there, ready to receive your shots!

Broom ball on ice
Intense and fun, a broomball game on ice is always a resounding success. This beautiful winter activity on the ice rink allows both great bursts of laughter between participants and a good expenditure of energy as a group.

Programming of winter activities

WITH OUR ANIMATION TEAM!

In order to make your stay even more enjoyable, our animation team offers a winter program that is out of the ordinary. Do you have free time in your schedule? Reserve your place among our activities offered by our animators in the morning, afternoon and evening. Introduction to winter sports, torchlight rides, survival in the forest, and much more!

WINTER PROGRAMMING 2024

General conditions for booking activities:

1. The reservation of activities must be made by the activity booking center exclusively.

2. Full payment for the dogsledding activity will be taken 24 hours in advance by credit card.

3. Cancellation Policy:

No charge until 48h before booking the activity.
Between 24h and 48h, 50% of the activity cost will be required.
Less than 24 hours before the booking, all expenses related to the activity will be required.

4. Cancellation of an activity may be subject to these other conditions as well:

Full refund of the amounts collected for the activity when the weather does not allow you to practice the activity or endangers the safety of the participants.
Full refund of the amounts collected for the activity when the Auberge du Lac Taureau is unable to provide the service.
The participant agrees to apply the cancellation policy if an illness or injury prevents him or her from practicing the activity.
The participant agrees to apply the cancellation policy if he does not show up for the activity.
