Fatbike

CYCLING ON THE SAND? OH YES!

Ride our performance fatbikes and conquer our marked trails. These specialized bikes are designed to excel on the changing surfaces of spring and fall (mud, soft or sandy ground), offering you exceptional grip and stability.

Easy to learn, fat biking is a dynamic activity accessible to the whole family, including beginners. It's the perfect opportunity to combine exercise and exploration: discover the natural beauty of Lac Taureau and get your fill of thrills. Cycling has never been so much fun!

Fishing

COME AND TEASE THE TROUT IN OUR POND!

Located just across from the Auberge, our fishing pond features a dock and is stocked with trout, offering an activity accessible to all. Easy to enjoy, it’s the perfect opportunity to try fishing or challenge yourself to catch your own fish in a natural, supervised setting.

There is a fee for this activity. The cost includes fish preparation services and the option to keep your catch refrigerated after the catch.

Tomahawk throwing

AIM FOR PERFECTION

Immerse yourself in an activity inspired by ancestral traditions with tomahawk throwing, a practice once used by Indigenous peoples for hunting and survival. Now revisited in a safe and controlled environment, this activity takes place on our Indigenous site, in lanes specifically designed for axe throwing.

Guided by our team, you will learn the basic techniques to handle and throw a tomahawk with precision, all in a fun and immersive setting.

There is a fee for this activity. Minimum age: 14 years old. Minimum of 2 people. Duration 1h30.

Fireplaces

For a good time!

End your day in the cozy atmosphere of a wood fire. We offer you the possibility to rent one of our new outdoor fire pits directly on the shores of Lake Taureau. It is the ideal opportunity to relax after your day's activities, while enjoying the exceptional setting the lake offers at sunset.

This rental service is available from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Book your fire pit and ensure yourself an evening of relaxation by the water.

There is a fee for this activity. The cost includes a bag of wood, matches, and starters.

Hiking

COME WALK ON OUR BEAUTIFUL TRAILS!

Let yourself be guided by our various paths crisscrossing the immense forest that surrounds the Inn. We have more than 23 kilometres of trails for everyone! You will have the choice between several directions to make the pleasure last all day long. A variety of wildlife awaits you in the woods... keep your eyes open!

Discover all our trails directly on your cell phone with the Ondago app!

Access to our trails is included in your resort access. Please note that some of our trails are closed during hunting season.

Snowmelt

WATCH THE LAKE MELT DURING THE SPRING!

Only once a year, the Taureau Reservoir offers us a magnificent show that is unique in the region!

In fact, it is during one of the calmest months (between April and May) that the ice melts in less than a few weeks. It's the ideal time to walk around, admire a landscape that you can't see anywhere else and even ride a fatbike between sand and snow.

The Reservoir is filled fairly quickly after the snow melts and the spring freshet arrives. In less than four to six weeks, our enormous frozen playground has been transformed into a huge lake that will soon be navigable for all our summer watercraft!
