MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION

  • Plan and coordinate daily tasks, assign staff according to daily demand as requested by the maintenance manager.
  • Coordinate work teams in the various accommodation units.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, condos, cottages, and coolboxes.
  • Adjust the schedule and distribution of tasks based on arrivals/departures and occupancy.
  • Manage complaints or special situations related to the cleanliness of the premises.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Participate in the training and integration of new employees.
  • Supervise, motivate, and support maintenance staff.
  • Contribute to performance evaluations.
  • Ensure smooth communication between teams (reception, common areas, maintenance, laundry).
  • Apply and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in the workplace.

LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY

  • Apply and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in the workplace.
  • Report any damage or hazardous situations and work with the maintenance team to make repairs.
  • Propose continuous improvements to service efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Positive leadership, dynamism, strong organizational skills, and good decision-making ability.
  • Team management skills, as well as an aptitude for teamwork and conflict resolution.
  • Aptitude for financial and material management.
  • Excellent ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of administration and management.
  • Knowledge and application of labor standards, basic principles of occupational health and safety, and hygiene and sanitation rules.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be fluent in written and spoken French, and have an intermediate level of English as you will communicate with an international clientele in English 20% of the time. Spanish is a plus.
  • High school diploma required; a background in hotel or housekeeping management is an asset.
