• Being the chief host: welcoming customers and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the services.
• Be responsible for the smooth running of the dining room, bars and banquets. 
• Supervise waiters, clerks and hosts while ensuring communication between the kitchen and the service. 
• Take and manage reservations, ensuring a consistent dining room plan.
• Deal with and manage customer complaints, as required. 
• Assists the Food and Beverage Manager in personnel management tasks such as training, adherence to procedures and employee performance. 

• Master the French language and have an intermediate level of English, as we have an international clientele and you will need to communicate in English 20% of the time.
• Be a leader, with a good customer approach, courtesy and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication, organization and planning skills.
• Knowledge of IQWARE and VELOCE computer systems (an asset).
• Willingness to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends or holidays)
• 5-day schedule with two consecutive days off, often outside weekends
